Weslock Single Cylinder Deadbolt

Single Cylinder Deadbolts are unlocked with a key on one side of the door and a thumb turn to lock it on the inside. Exactly whant I needed
This dead bolt in antique brass is exactly what I needed to replace the old one I installed twelve years ago. The front door actually seals better and the color is better than the old one.

[productqa_] Questions and Answers

Question Can I get the Weslock hardware with a Schlage keyway?
Asked by: eric lindsay - 10/10/2019
Question Yes, this can be ordered with Schlage keyway. The lead time is usually about 3 weeks Answer provided by:  Josh (10/10/2019)
Question We have a custom metal front door that is just a hair over 2" thick. Twice now, single cylinder deadbolt has popped off when the temperature changes and the door either expands or contracts. The screws/bolts wiggle loose and then the lock halves separate. Will this fit a door that is 2 1/8" thick?
Asked by: Katie - 10/1/2023
Question Hi, all hardware has a little wiggle room due to the length of the screws and the receptacle that accepts the threads. This particular lock is designed for a standard 1 3/4" thick door. It is not designed for thicker than standard doors. Sounds like you were lucky to get it on but just barely. I would suggest ordering a different deadbolt that has expansion parts for a thicker door. You could try contacting Weslock about any potential thick door kits.

Here are 2 options for replacement that can be ordered for thicker doors.

Question should you need to go outside (eg to the garage) can the lock be secured open from the inside without the need of taking the keys with you ? The Yale locks made this possible which meant you wouldn't be locked out !
