Levered Door Handles from Nova

The levered door handles that Nova Hardware offers can function as either privacy or passage handles. Privacy handles can lock from the inside of the room when privacy is needed but can easily be unlocked with a pin from the outside for safety purposes. These handles are typically installed on bathroom and bedroom doors, or occasionally to secure a home office. Passage handles are meant for doors that do not need to be secured or locked. These handles have no locking or privacy function and are typically installed on doors leading to closets, pantries, nurseries, and kitchens.

Every levered handle that Nova offers can be installed as either a privacy handle or a passage handle. To set the handle to the privacy function, leave the privacy pin in the lever during installation. If you want to install a passage lever on your door, then remove the privacy pin, and the handle will lose its locking capability.

The heavy duty deadbolts that Nova offers are made from stainless steel and modeled after a European style. They can be ordered as either single cylinder or double cylinder locks. A single cylinder deadbolt only requires a key on the outside of the door. But a double cylinder deadbolt requires keyed entry on both sides of the door for added security. The modern door chains in Nova’s product line are unique because of the special leather cover made to prevent the chain from making noise when hitting the door. Nova doorstops are ideal to prevent your doors from scuffing up your walls. You can choose between magnetized and traditional door stops, depending on your preference.
