- Adjustable Backset to fit 2 3/8" or 2 3/4" door prep. - Fits standard 2 1/8" bore hole - 1" cross bore - Standard Installation Fitting - Replaces most existing locks. - Fits Doors 1 3/8" - 1 3/4" Thick
Single cylinder deadbolts are the most common type of deadbolts used. A single cylinder deadbolt has a thumb turn on the inside for locking or unlocking. On the exterior the door is unlocked using a key through the key cylinder. Deadbolts are easy to install if your door is already prepped for one. Removing the old deadbolt and installing a new one would probably take about 5 minutes.
