I appreciate so much that your company replaced this item free of charge. The original part evidently had pins that didn't align so I couldn't lock my door from the outside. After paying a locksmith, he said he couldn't fix it but did tell me what the problem was, hence my request for a replacement part. The new part is a bit stiff but a vast improvement. Thank you. If ever I need other hardware needs, I will be doing business with your company.

Replacement Lock Cylinder
The tailpiece on my old lock broke and this replacement was what I needed. I appreciated that I was able to request it was made up to match my old key that was same for my other door locks.

We've just bought a new home with nice door handles that we didn't want to replace. After searching through many hardware stores, we didn't find any Emtek brands let alone trying to find the "Tubular Cylinder Replacement Keyway". Question I have and Emtek Lausanne lock in Satin Nickel. I want to re-key the lock to match our other Kwikset locks. Do you have a replacement keyway in satin nickel that will fit the Emtek Luasanne and that can be re-keyed for a Kwikset key?

Question Hello, the Emtek locks come with a Schalge style SC1 keyway. Kwikset locks come with the Kwikset KW1 keyway. These locks are not compatible and cannot be keyed the same Answer provided by:  Josh (5/23/2022)
