Large entry door pulls are becoming more and more popular these days, but one issue has always been how to get the door to stay closed since the bar pulls have no latch. A common solution has been to use roller catches on the edge of the door. Emtek's innovative solution to this style of entry door is this simple Mortise lock style deadbolt. The mortise box slides into the edge of the door and has a built in roller catch to act as a latch to keep the door closed. Throwing the deadbolt to lock provides security when needed.
