Keyed with American Cylinder This function uses a thumbturn on the inside to lock or unlock the door, and requires a key for entry from the outside. This is most common for exterior patio doors that need to be locked.
Non-Keyed, Thumbturn Inside This function allows you to lock the door with a thumbturn on the inside, but you cannot unlock it from the outside. Access from the outside is only possible when unlocked with thumbturn from the inside.
Non-Keyed, Fixed Handle Outside This function is often used on the side of a french door that is generally not active. The inside lever is operable from the inside so that you can unlatch the door when you want both open, but the lever is fixed from the outside preventing it from being unlocked from outside.
