Emtek Modern Rectangular Jamb Bolt
Emtek Jam bolts are an inexpensive subtle way to privacy lock pocket doors. Installed flush on the interior side of the pocket door when it is closed just past the pocket opening, pressing on the upper part of the bolt rocks out the lower half making it block the door from opening. A small hole drilled through the exterior of the door to the top half of the bolt allows for a wire (not included), or other thin object to be inserted which will force the bolt back to the neutral position allowing for emergency egress. An included strike plate can be places on the interior pocket trim to protect the trim from damage when the bolt is extended.

Emtek products are assembled per order so when they are returned the doorknobs have to be taken apart and restocked. As a result, there is a 25% restock fee on all Emtek products. If items are returned that have been installed, used or abused there may be a higher restock fee assessed or no credit issued.
