Description

Don-Jo Extended Strike Plate with 2 1/4 Inch Height

If you have an extra thick door, or extra thick casing a standard sized strike won't work quite like it should. Don-jo extended lip strikes are the answer. Chose the size that suits your needs. Typically you would want the lip of the strike to extend just a bit past the casing edge on your jamb so that when the door closes the latch strikes the strike plate instead of the casing. Extended lip strikes are available in many sizes but not all finishes are available.

Five Stars all the way. Strike plates arrived as described, fit and worked perfectly. Sales / Tech support was extremely helpful when I called to ensure I selected the correct fit. BTW: The review software is a little funky. Usually you click the further right star for the highest review, but this appears to be reversed. If this review shows as one-star that was user error. The intent is 5-star.
