Deltana Pocket Door Jamb Bolt
Deltana's Pocket door jamb bolt is an unfamiliar but useful piece of hardware used on pocket doors. This set mounts on the jamb side of the door (the jamb where the actual pocket is. It works like a rocker switch. When you push in the top, the bottom half of the rocker comes out, physcially preventing the door from returning into the pocket. A strike plate is provided with this set to prevent damage on the jamb. Emergency egresss is accomplished by drilling a small hole through the door. This allows you to insert a small thin object through the hole to push the rocker back flush in the trim so the door will slide into the pocket.
