The Weslock Wiltshire Entrance Handleset is made from a pitted, worn and rustic molten bronze material and is available in three finishes. Choose from several knob and lever styles for the interior.

The Weslock Wiltshire Handleset is Available in 2 Functions:

Single Cylinder Handleset
Single Cylinder handlesets are locked/unlocked with a key from the exterior and locked/unlocked from the inside of the home with a thumbturn. (most often used)

Dummy Handleset
If you have a double front door where one side is generally inactive while the other is always active, you will need a combination of two handle sets. For the active side, you'll need a single or double cylinder handleset. For the inactive door, you'll want to order a dummy handleset. This gives you the look of a complete working set, but doesn't have all of the mechanisms - perfect for an inactive door.

Double Cylinder Handleset
A double cylinder handleset has a keyed cylinder on the inside as well as the outside. This requires a key to lock or unlock the door from both sides. We don't recommend using double cylinder handlesets on main exterior doors because if there is any emergency, a key would be required to exit the home.

How to Determine Door Handingfor a Weslock Castletown Handleset

When ordering lever handles or handlesets, we'll need to know the handing of your door. Door handing is the direction in which your door swings. If you order the incorrect door handing you will either have locks on the wrong side of the door, levers that are upside down, or levers that point in the wrong direction and keep the door from closing properly.



Follow These Steps:

	Stand facing the door on the outside - If it's a locking door, stand on the side of the door where you would insert a key (or unlocking tool if it would be a privacy lock).

	If the hinges are on the left, it's a left hand door. If the hinges are on the right, it's a right hand door.

It looks nice but low quality

I needed an extra tall backplate to cover up some markings of old hardware on my front door, and this seemed like the perfect fit. In fact, the size, color, and style went well with my old hardwood door. However, the piece itself was a big pain. The inner and outer hardware wouldn't line up just right, causing the latch to not function correctly. I played around with it for a few hours but it still wouldn't fit right. Maybe I received a dud. Also, The deadbolt mechanism seemed strong, but the latch to turn it was light and felt cheap. I decided to look for something else....

Love it!

This a beautiful handle set! This matched perfectly for our Spanish home. It is sturdy and aesthetically beautiful! The only gripe I have is that it gets "hot" to touch on warm summer days! Other than that, we love it!

Lockset looked great, but latch did not work correctly. I spent a few hours adding some shims under the inside mechanism so latch would not stick. Also one of the screws that holds the lower mechanism in place seemed to be cross threaded because I couldn't get the screw to seat properly and thus only have one screw holding mechanism in place. I was told this was an inferior model but b

What is the benefit of chosing the Weslock keyway vs the schlage keyway when purchasing the wiltshire handleset?

It says an optional Schlage keyway, so does that mean we can buy it with that keyway? OR do we have to purchase it separately? We are needing these for 5 different doors plus a dumby door. Please advise

Yes, you can buy it with a Schlage keyway, you just have to request it at the time of purchase. We cam have everything keyed alike for you as well if you would like. This will not fit 2 1/4" thick door. This handleset is designed for standard exterior door, 1 3/4" thick. The Emtek Wilmington (brass) or Greely (sandcast bronze) are both similar and can be ordered for thicker doors like yours. Answer provided by: Zach (6/9/2021)

hi i have a Weslock Wiltshire Molten Bronze SKU :W7680, with a single cylinder, i need a replacement cylinder for it, what is the item number and how much does it cost? i also saw an option that says "single cylinder with interconnect" what is it, what does it do, and if it is what it think it is, can i adapt it to my old door lock?

Hello, The with the interconnected lock option the deadbolt is automatically unlocked when the interior knob or lever is turned. This is normally used in nursing home or daycare applications where a single action lock is required by code. Your lock can only be converted to an interconnected lock by purchasing a replacement interior half. The cost for the interconnected interior is $127.94. You can order a replacement cylinder for the lock. This part is not on our website, but we can order from Weslock for you. The cost is $24.99. You can order this part by phone.
