The Weslock Rockford Entrance Handleset is made from a pitted, worn and rustic molten bronze material and is available in three finishes. Choose from several knob and lever styles for the interior.

The Weslock Rockford Handleset is Available in 2 Functions:

Single Cylinder Handleset
Single Cylinder handlesets are locked/unlocked with a key from the exterior and locked/unlocked from the inside of the home with a thumbturn. (most often used)

Dummy Handleset
If you have a double front door where one side is generally inactive while the other is always active, you will need a combination of two handle sets. For the active side, you'll need a single or double cylinder handleset. For the inactive door, you'll want to order a dummy handleset. This gives you the look of a complete working set, but doesn't have all of the mechanisms - perfect for an inactive door.

Double Cylinder Handleset
A double cylinder handleset has a keyed cylinder on the inside as well as the outside. This requires a key to lock or unlock the door from both sides. We don't recommend using double cylinder handlesets on main exterior doors because if there is any emergency, a key would be required to exit the home.

How to Determine Door Handingfor a Weslock Castletown Handleset

When ordering lever handles or handlesets, we'll need to know the handing of your door. Door handing is the direction in which your door swings. If you order the incorrect door handing you will either have locks on the wrong side of the door, levers that are upside down, or levers that point in the wrong direction and keep the door from closing properly.



Follow These Steps:

	Stand facing the door on the outside - If it's a locking door, stand on the side of the door where you would insert a key (or unlocking tool if it would be a privacy lock).

	If the hinges are on the left, it's a left hand door. If the hinges are on the right, it's a right hand door.

Great look and feel. The monaghan level is very beautiful and detailed. You just got be sure with the lever that the door you are buying does not have any protrusions that might overlap with the lever!. Instructions in manual can be significantly improved but for people who have worked with locks it is quite familiar.

Can this handle fit a thicker door - measuring 2 1/4"?

The Weslock Rockford handleset is made to fit a thickness range of 1-3/4" to 2", but it will fit up to 2-1/4 with a thickness kit installed. Please call us to place your order if you need the thickness kit.

I currently have a two piece handset but would like to replace it with the Weslock Rockford one piece, it that possible to do that or do I need to stick with a two piece? Thanks, Reina

You could replace it with this handleset if you current door is prepped with two bore holes that are spaced 5 1/2" CC. Please refer to our standard door prep page for more information. One issue you will run into is the bottom mounting hole on the handleset may not match up perfectly for you. But that can be patched and painted.

Will the finish eventually wear off of this handleset or is it solid all the way through for the oil rubbed bronze?

Yes this finish will wear exposing the reddish material beneath. That is whole idea behind an oil rubbed bronze finish. If you want something that won't wear off, look at Schlage's Aged Bronze finish. Answer provided by: Jake (10/16/2017)
