What You Should Know:

- Dummy Function is a surface mount from the front - exposed screws on the top and bottom of the rosette. Minor drilling required for rosette to sit flush on the door.

- There is no Keyed function for the Torino Lever because it would change the design significantly. We recommend using a passage lever with a deadbolt above.

Sure-Loc lever handles are available in several functions. Please review the descriptions below so you can order the correct Lever Handle for your application.

	Passage or Hall and Closet Doorlevers are used on doors that do not require a locking mechanism. Halls, closets, pantry or laundry doors will generally use a passage leverset. Passage levers do not have a locking mechanism.

	Privacy or Bed and Bath lever handles are most often used on Bedrooms, Baths or Office doors where a lock for privacy while occupied is desired, but a keyed lock is not really necessary. Sure-Loc privacy levers have a turn button on the end of the knob as shown to the left to activate the lock. On the outside, there is a pin hole for emergency unlocking. Some levers will have a pin hole inside a circular piece, some just have a small pinhole.


	Dummy levers do not have a latch or mechanism of any kind. The Sure-Loc Juneau Lever requires hole drilled through door to mount the dummy function and will only have one lever for one side of the door.

Better Description Needed

A better description of the dummy lever is needed. I understood from the description and from a call with the manufacturer that these levers were for closets that only needed levers on one side. What it doesn't explain is that it won't work with a standard door. I had to return the dummy levers and buy the more expensive passage levers. The problem is more with the manufacturer. Customer service with Direct Door Hardware has always been excellent.

Will these work on a 1 3/8" think door? Do i need to order specifically to make that happen?

This lever will fit a 1-3/8" thick door. Most of Sure-Loc's hardware will fit 1-3/8" doors. Only a few of their handlesets will require a door of at least 1-3/4" thickness. Answer provided by: Jake L (12/2/2015)
