Schlage Wakefield Entrance Handleset

The Schlage Wakefield handleset is availabe with several interior knob and lever options and multiple finishes to match your other schlage locks or home decor. Choose from the pull down menus above to customize the handleset that is right your you. Schlage handlesets can be keyed alike your other Schlage products. Split finish handlesets are available upon request.

***Oil Rubbed Bronze and Aged Bronze are quite similar. We are noticing more people prefer the Aged Bronze because it has more of a glossy finish with a rubbed look. The Oil Rubbed Bronze is more of a solid matte brown color.

- Replaces virtually any existing lock
- Easy installation: One-person project; no extra hands needed
- ANSI Grade 2 with maximum security features
- Lifetime finish and mechanical guarantee
- Designs and finishes to match any home's architectural style.
- Lifetime brass finish is on the exterior of the handleset only.
- Latch measurements - 1" x 2 1/4", 1/4" Radius corner faceplate, 7/8" housing diameter, 1/2" throw springlatch
- Deadbolt measurements - 1" x 2 1/4" radius corner faceplate, 7/8" housing diameter, 1" throw
- Strike plate measurements - 1 5/8" x 2 1/4", radius corner, full lip, no box latch strike & 1 1/8" square corner, no box deadbolt strike
- Door frame reinforcer with 3" screws
- Adjustable latch - 2 3/8" or 2 3/4" backset
- 5-pin solid brass, keyed 5-pin, C-keyway, keyed different unless specified
- Fits 1 5/8" - 1 3/4" thick doors. Packed with extra mounting screws to accomodate 2" doors.

The Schlage Wakefield Handleset is Available in 2 Functions:

Single Cylinder Handleset
Single Cylinder handlesets are locked/unlocked with a key from the exterior and locked/unlocked from the inside of the home with a thumbturn. (most often used)

Dummy Handleset
If you have a double front door where one side is generally inactive while the other is always active, you will need a combination of two handle sets. For the active side, you'll need a single or double cylinder handleset. For the inactive door, you'll want to order a dummy handleset. This gives you the look of a complete working set, but doesn't have all of the mechanisms - perfect for an inactive door.

Schlage extends a lifetime limited mechanical and finish warranty and a one-year limited electronics warranty to the original consumer user (Original User) of our Schlage brand product (Product) against defects in material and workmanship, as long as the Original User occupies the residential premises upon which the Product was originally installed. Dummy Set

Dummy set did not come with matching dummy deadbolt lock. Wife was disappointed.

Can this be used with a 5 in backset?

I am looking for a 2 piece front door set. Most measurements from the thumb latch down to the screw is 8 1/2 inches. I need one which is 9 1/2 inches from the latch to the screw. Suggestions?

There are several that have a 9 7/16" spacing that should work for you. Please check out our Handleset Replacement Guide for a list of handlesets and their measurements.
