Specifications:


  • Applications: Auxiliary and primary locking for residential and commercial buildings. B-Series locks are designed to meet various security door preparations and functional requirements as determined by local codes and life safety regulations.
  • Certifications: ANSI A156.5, 1992. B500-Series, BC100-Series Grade 2; B250-Series, Grade 2; B300 Maximum Security Deadbolt-Series, Grade 2; B500-Series and B600/700/800-Series are UL Listed as an auxiliary lock for all functions up to 3 hour doors. B800-Series is UL437 Listed.
  • Exposed Trim: B500, BC100, B250, B300-Series: Wrought brass or bronze. B600/700/800-Series: Solid brass or bronze with pressure cast zinc thumbturn, plated to match finishes indicated.
  • Keying: B250, BA300 and B300 Series 5-pin tumbler standard with two keys per lock. Available with 6-pin tumblers, assembled to order. BC100, B500 and B600 Series 6-pin tumbler standard with two keys per lock. Stock locks are keyed 5-pin. B700-Series: Primus 20-700 Controlled Access cylinder. B800-Series: Primus 20-500 High Security cylinder. BC100, B500, B250, B600 and B700-Series available with interchangeable cores. BC100, B500 and B250-Series also available with Primus high security cylinder. Other keying options for B-Series available from the factory include master keying, grand master keying, and construction keying (construction keying not available for B700/800-Series).
  • Door Range: B500, BC100-Series, 6-pin: 1 3/8" to 1 3/4" thick (35 mm - 44mm) standard. Available for 1 3/4 to 2 1/4 and 2 1/4 to 4 assembled to order. B250 Series, 5-pin and 6-pin, 1 3/8" to 1 3/4" (35 mm - 50 mm) standard. 5-pin available to 2 1/4", assembled to order. 6-pin available to 2 3/4", assembled to order. B300 Maximum Security Deadbolt Series: 1 3/8" (35 mm) and doors up to 2 1/2" (63 mm), assembled to order. Door ranges may vary by function.
  • Backset: B500, BC100-Series: 2 3/8" (60 mm) or 2 3/4" (70 mm) adjustable backset deadbolt standard. B250-Series: 2 3/8" (60 mm) standard. 2 3/4" (70 mm) available. B300 Maximum Security-Series: 2 3/8" (60 mm) or 2 3/4" (70 mm) dual backset deadbolt standard. B600/700/800-Series: 2 3/4" (70 mm) standard. 2 3/8" (60 mm), 3 3/4" (95 mm), 5" (127 mm) available.

  • Standard latches and strikes have adjustable brass, bronze, or steel faceplates, furnished in compatible lock trim finishesLatches: B500, BC100, B300-Series: 1" x 2 1/4" (25 mm x 57 mm), 1" (25 mm) throw with square faceplate standard. Circular drive-in, 1/4" (6 mm) radius round corner deadbolts also available. 1 1/8 square faceplate also available for B500-Series. B250-Series: 1 1/8" x 2 1/4" (29 mm x 57 mm), 9/16" (14 mm) throw standard. Circular drive-in deadbolt also available.
  • Strikes: B500, BC100, B300, B600/700/800-Series: Square corner, 1 1/8 x 2 3/4 (29 mm x 70 mm) strike, no lip, furnished with dust box and doorframe reinforcer, standard. ANSI 1 1/4 x 4 7/8 (32 mm x 124 mm) with 1 3/16 (30 mm) lip, drive-in and full lip strikes are available. B250 Series: Square corner, 1 1/8 x 2 3/4 (29 mm x 70 mm) strike with 1 1/8 (29 mm) lip, furnished with dust box, standard. Optional lip lengths 1 through 2 (25 mm-51 mm) available. ANSI 1 1/4 x 4 7/8 (32 mm x 124 mm) with 1 3/16 (30 mm) lip also available.
