Questions and Answers

Question I'm thinking of using the Emtek Sandcast Bronze keypad entryset (EME451211TTFB) for my front entryway , which is a double door. Therefore I will need a dummy set in addition to the eletronic entryset for this application. Is it possible to purchase a dummy entryset for this item for my double door?
Asked by: doug - 6/27/2015
Question They do not make a dummy keypad handleset. But you could order a Denver Dummy handleset which would be the matching handle.

Question I want to order this set in black, but I notice the the description says that the keypad entryset is bronze. I want to make sure that the entire item is black and is it a matte finish
Asked by: jimmy - 2/1/2020
Question The base material this product is made of is bronze. It can be ordered in medium bronze, black, or tumbled white bronze finish. The black finish is a flat black patina finish. It is not glossy. The patina finish is a living finish and it will wear through over time exposing the bronze material underneath Answer provided by:  Josh (2/3/2020)
Question Emtek Sandcast Bronze Keypad Entryset What finish is shown in the picture? Is this the "medium bronze"?
Asked by: Tracey Philips - 11/12/2022
Question Yes, image shows the medium bronze finish. Answer provided by:  Jake (11/14/2022)
Question Are there any issues with keyless locks and weather exposure on doors that are not covered?
Asked by: Tracey Philips - 11/12/2022
Question These sets are designed to be used outside. We have tested multiple models from different brands and have had no issues with finish holding up. We sell them all of over the country from cold areas like ours to extreme heat and coastal areas. Electronic locks like these typically have a 1-2 year warranty due to the electronics in them. The finish is applied in the same manner used on non-electronic locks that have a lifetime warranty. Answer provided by:  Jake (11/14/2022)
