Question Does this item fit a 1 3/8" door? What is the size of the faceplate? the description states 6 15/16" long 5/8" wide but the picture looks like a square. please clarify

Question This lock will fit a 1-3/8" thick door. The door trim is a square. It will be 2-3/8" square. Answer provided by:  Jake Lott (4/7/2014)

Question It looks like this is a latch/lock device only and not a device with which the door can be pulled open. Do I need an edge pull in addition to this or does it act as an edge pull too? It's hard to tell because the photo is tiny. Thanks.
