These antique plates are sold as plates ONLY! This type of vintage door hardware is most often used when you have an older home that needs replacement plates. These plates are meant to replace your old existing plates and assemble in conjunction with your existing knobs, but we do not guarantee they will fit as there are many brands of hardware that each have their own design. Please take measurements of your existing antique hardware to make sure you are ordering exactly what you need. Nostalgic Warehouse Antique hardware is subject to a 20% restock fee.

Replacement Antique Door Knob Backplate Specs

- Base of doorknob must be able to fit in or sit over a 17 mm hub opening
- Passage and privacy plate pairs are made to fit a 2 1/8" standard bore hole
- Plate dimensions are 7" tall X 2 1/4" Wide.

Nostalgic Warehouse door hardware is assembled custom to fill your order. As a result there is a 25% restock fee assessed on all orders because the items have to be disassembled upon return. Door Plates
Overall OK I like the design fits in our 1925 house: What I didn't care is the finish. It's very thin and oily. If you touch it wrong the brass plating underneath shows through. The screws were also very week. The treads are to corse so going into a hard wood door was a challenge I broke the first one installing the plates but the rest were ok after drilling a deeper pilot hole.
