Are we able to change the code at anytime? Or, does this come with a permanent code?

I have a double outside door that is 5 inches thick will this work and can I get 2 additional handles for the second door?

Hard to say for sure this will work for your application without any more info. You can order the hardware with a thick door kit for up to 5" thick. Keep in mind, the tongue of the latch still only sticks out 1/2" from the edge of your door so if you have a large gap there may be a fitment issue there. You cannot purchase handles only for your second door. If you want a matching set for the dummy door you would just purchase qty 2, one for each door. Another alternative is to purchase a commercial lever that looks similar but dummy function. This would be a lever and round rosette only for each side of the dummy door and be non functional.
