Kwikset Chelsea Handleset Specifications
  • 2 3/8" - 2 3/4" adjustable backset
  • Full 1" throw deadbolt with hardened steel rod insert - prevents sawing
  • 6-Pin Cylinder
  • Fits door thickness of 1 3/4"
  • Optional door thickness for 2 1/4"
  • Fits doors prepared with standard 2 1/8" bore hole with 1" cross bore.

Order Help

This Handleset is Available in 2 Functions:

Single Cylinder Handleset
Single Cylinder handlesets are locked/unlocked with a key from the exterior and locked/unlocked from the inside of the home with a thumbturn. (most often used)

Dummy Handleset
If you have a double front door where one side is generally inactive while the other is always active, you will need a combination of two handle sets. For the active side, you'll need a single or double cylinder handleset. For the inactive door, you'll want to order a dummy handleset. This gives you the look of a complete working set, but doesn't have all of the mechanisms - perfect for an inactive door.

Kwikset Product Warranty

Lifetime Mechanical - 10 Year Finish

Warranties cover the original residential user of Kwikset Products against defects in material and workmanship as long as the original user occupies the residential premises upon which the product was originally installed. This warranty DOES NOT COVER abused or misused products or non-commercial products used in commercial applications. A finish deterioration occurring from the use of paints, solvents or other chemicals is not a defect in the finish and is not covered by this warranty.

Kwikset door hardware products can be returned in their original packaging in new condition within 60 days of purchase. Kwikset hardware is subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Question I am trying to set this up so that all the exterior hardware is polished brass and all the interior hardware is stain nickel. I don't see where the deadbolt latch is shown or described. Can you help?
