Questions and Answers

Question Are these Emtek hinge screws (1-1/4" #12) flat head Phillips? the image shows a round head slotted.
Asked by: John - 4/10/2014
Question I'm sorry, that image must be incorrect. The hinge screws are flat head Philips. Sorry for the confusion there. We'll have to locate the correct image and get that updated. Answer provided by:  Jake (4/21/2014)
Question Is the correct screw type a bugle head or flat head? I'm looking to upgrade to longer 3" screws for an exterior door. The reply to the earlier question indicates flat head, but it seems like the screws that I currently have a bugle head. The hinge I'm using is the 9841532D.
Asked by: Stephen - 9/16/2015
Question its a flat head. Not 3" long though. There are 1 1/4" in length.

Question Will these fit your 4x4 bearing hinge? The drawing appears to be an oval head which would bind. They would need to be a bugle head.
Asked by: John - 2/20/2016
Question These are flat head screws and will work for a 4x4 hinge. Answer provided by:  Jake L (2/22/2016)
