Emtek double cylinder deadbolts have a keyed cylinder on the outside as well as on the inside. This type of deadblot is generally used on doors that are part glass so that if an intruder breaks the glass, they would need a key to unlock the inside of the door. It is not recommended on most doors because it increases the danger of a person to excape incase of a fire.Emtek Wrought Steel door hardware is made of solid steel for heavy feel and lasting quality.

- Emtek keyway - Standard door prep - Solid brass cylinder, housing collar and rosette. - Hardened steel bolt - Heavy guage steel understrike and brass trim strike shipped with every deadbolt. - Backsets are non-adjustable. Please specify backset when ordering. - Shipped with square corner strike and mortise plates. Rounded corner plates or drive in latches available upon request.
