Emtek Spindle
Emtek's proprietary spindle design is a half spindle, 1 for each side of the hardware set meeting in the middle at the latch. The spindle has a spring and a set screw that allows for adjustment upon installation depending on your door thickness. The set screw should be loosened to allow adjustability on the spindles. Once the hardware installation is complete, the set screws can be tightened.
- These spindles are available in 3 different lengths to accommodate your door thickness
- Sold individually for parts or hardware modification by locksmith or competent installer only
- Your latch cross bore hole MUST be centered on the edge of your door for the door thickness perimeters to work correctly
- 2 spindles are required for 1 door hardware set
- Works on Emtek brand hardware only
- Spring included
- Additional hardware such as longer screws and extended lip strike plate may be necessary to extend standard hardware to fit a thicker door. Call for more info.
