Emtek Mortise Handlesets

Mortise Locks use a large 8" tall box that slides in to the edge of the door. If your door is prepped with two 2 1/8" diameter bore holes, your door is meant to use a handleset with two tubular latches, not a mortise lock. Please see Emtek Tubular Handlesets For sets that will fit standard door prep. Mortise locks are a great option for a nice, high end, quality feel but they do require special door prep.
