The use of door closers is ideal for certain areas such as high traffic locations in a commercial setting. These types of areas experience a lot of traffic which means the doors need something sturdier than a traditional spring hinge.
These reliable door closers are available in several types to fit your exact needs with ease and efficiency. For example, one common type of door closer is called Hold Open. This type is used to keep the door open during high traffic periods making it ideal for a range of locations. On the opposite end, there are options called Soft Close or Cush-N-Stop that helps to slow the door down at the last moment for a quieter, softer close.
We have a variety of door closer options to choose from including top brands like Falcon, PHG, and LCN. As one of the most crucial parts of your commercial project, we have the selection to fit any application so you can ensure the right outcome. These options are all high-quality solutions manufactured with the highest of standards. You will find a range of great features depending on the model you choose. For instance, there are such features as Adjustable power size, heat-treated pinions, adjustable back check, and more. Most of these options also meet the ADA requirements for added peace of mind to ensure your commercial location meets standards. In addition to different specifications and features, you will also find a range of finishes. We understand that in any commercial space, appearances influence customers. Choose from a range of finishes such as gold, aluminum, and more to achieve the right outcome for your location. With these high-quality solutions, make sure any high traffic area is covered with an option that performs well and looks great in the process.

Door closers are called just that. There are several different types of door closers, which also help with controlling the opening of a door as well as the closing. Some of the different types of door closers are traditional, modern type with a cover, modern type without a cover, concealed in door, concealed in frame, and finally, concealed in floor.
Door closers work by using a spring tension modulated by hydraulic fluid. This allows the door to close slowly, but firmly, so it can latch shut, without springing closed on potential guests. When someone opens the door, hydraulic fluid moves from one reservoir to another, the spring then pushes the door closed, moving the hydraulic fluid back to the previous reservoir through a series of valves. The valves help control the speed of how fast the door shuts.
There are six different types of door closers. They are traditional, modern with a cover, modern without a cover, concealed in door, concealed in frame, and concealed in floor.
In some cases, door closers can be repaired. They can be repaired if the problem is a damaged arm or adjusting screw, however, if there is internal damage done to the door closer, then it cannot be repaired and will need to be replaced instead.
