Questions and Answers

Question Is. There a heavier-duty version of this product? My application is for a drawer that mounts in a truck bed. It will hold the drawer close. I may use a separate locking pin to secure the drawer during travel, but want something that requires a medium amount of force to pull open.

Question We dont have a heavier duty ball catch. Roller catches will hold a little stronger than the ball and the spring tension is adjustable

Question What is the difference between the Baldwin 425 ball catch and the Baldwin 426?
Asked by: Dan - 3/7/2019
Question Hello,

the difference is a little unclear, I apologize. The 425 is meant to be mounted where the actual ball catch is mounted in the door Jamb and the strike plate is on the door itself. The 426 is the opposite, the ball catch would be mounted on the door and the striker plate is mounted on the jamb. I hope that answers your question. Thanks Answer provided by:  Zach (3/7/2019)
