Antique Brass Kickplate

Antique Brass Kick Plates are available in 6" x 8" heights and several widths. You can also choose from screw mount, magnetic mount and adhesive mount. Please double check the width you order to make sure you get the right kick plate. Generally you will want to order a kickplate that is 2" shorter than your door width so that it doesn't get in the way of your door trim and weatherstripping. So if you have a 36" door for example, you'll want to order a 34" wide kickplate. Many kickplates are custom made to order in the finish you need. Some standard sizes are in stock, but please allow 2-3 weeks before shipment.

3 Kickplate Mounting Types
Screw Mount: Evenly spaces screws along top and bottom of the kickplate.
28, 30 & 32 Inch Wide - 5 Screws Top 5 Screws bottom.
34 & 40 Inch Wide - 6 Screws Top and 6 Screws Bottom.

Magnetic Mount: Continuous magnetic sheet across the back of kick plate (only works on steel doors).
Adhesive Mount: All weather adhesive strip top and bottom of the kickplate (can be attached to any door type).

Hotel or Commercial Kickplates
Have a big project? We do large orders of kickplates all the time. If you need more than 10 kickplates, please contact us for a quote.

NOTE:

Your kickplate will arrive with adhesive covering the front surface to protect the finish. Please remove the protective film to see finish. We recommend removing the film after installation to protect the kickplate while installing.

LIMITED WARRANTY: BRASS Accents, Inc. warrants for a period of one (1) year that our products will be free from defects in workmanship and materials. At our option, we will repair or replace free of charge any product found to be defective and subject to this warranty, provided it is delivered prepaid to us. This warranty does not apply to any defects or malfunctions resulting from improper installation or use. BRASS Accents, Inc. shall not be liable for any consequential damages. Please note: The limited warranty on all locks or latches is void if consumer uses them on knobs, levers, or trim other than original supplied by BRASS Accents, Inc. or the manufacturer. Just Right!

These kickplates were just what I was looking for! I have older double front doors that were showing wear at the bottom. I did not want to replace the doors so I updated the hardware and then I bought these kickplates to cover the wear. The doors look great. The antique brass metal is a perfect match to the hardware I used. My husband was happy with the ease of installation and the quality of these kickplates. I am very happy with my purchase

Very elegant looking kickplate

Very nice looking kick plate. Easy to install. The magnet was just strong enough - strong enough to keep it firmly in place, but also not too difficult to adjust position when installing. Nice product.

Kickplate was nice. Good quality heavy brass. A little pricey, tho. Didn't like that the center holes for the screws weren't actually centered. Was obvious when they didn't line up with the center of the middle stile on the door.

Very Pleased with this Kickplate

The antique brass kickplate worked well. Extremely well packed. We did not want the "bright shine" type brass and the antique finish solved this issue. Plate is heavy (thick) enough that bending was not a problem. The small screws (with an extra one or two) were good.

I cut this in half and used it as a backer for my entry door antique brass door hardware. I had to relocate one of the holes to have them line up so I needed a cover. This worked perfectly and makes an attractive entry door accent.

Wonderful Addition

The antique hardware experience was top rate all the way around!!The item was shipped in a timely manner and due to the superb packing it arrived in pristine shape. Magnetic Kickplate

Kickplate

Ordered this almost a year ago for new construction that is now nearing completion. I installed this just today (same day as review request, weird!), and it looks fantastic. Originally I ordered one to test, though I have three classic 40s looking doors. Will be ordering two more very soon! Great appearance and I was pleased with quality of product and packaging.

My door will not fit a 6in tall kick plate. Do you make them in 4in size? I would need a 4 X 34.

Is the screw mounted 6x34 kickplate surface mounted, or do the screws go through the door. Have a wooden door 1 3/4 in. thickness?

Will the antique brass kickplate tarnish or need to be polished if installed outside? I'm trying to decide which will require less maintenance, antique brass or the polish brass PVD?

The main finish you need to worry about tarnishing is polished brass. So if you want polished brass finish, you'll for sure need the PVD. Answer provided by: Jake (7/14/2017)

Question about adhesive door kickplate - it says "all weather" but wondering how well or long it sticks with direct outdoor exposure (rain)?

There are many variables for the longevity of the adhesive mount kickplate. It really works best on a very smooth surface without too much exposure to moisture or direct sun. The best mounting option for full exposure is the screw mount for sure. Answer provided by: Josh (2/18/2019)
