Excellent modern gate handle
This is the best handle I found, especially for the cost, for the modern gate we constructed. It is beautiful, feels nice in your hand, and looks like it cost more than it did. All wins in my book. For the backside of the gate, we used the barn door handle and the two look great together. I'm hoping that it will hold up well against the salt air and the fog.

Questions and Answers

Question Don’t I need something else for the back of the door so if you re in the room you can let yourself out?
Asked by: Ann - 12/12/2018
Question Hi,

Depending on your application, folks often use what is called a flush pull to be able to open/close the door from the inside of a room with a sliding barn door over the doorway. This allows the door to slide open against the wall where a handle would interfere with the jamb usually.

Here is one by Sure-Loc, to install these, you need to mortise out a hollow area on the door with a router or by hand just so you are aware.

There are many others to choose from if you just search "flush pull" in our search bar at the top right.

Please give us a call if you have any further questions.
