Questions and Answers

Question Is this model a deadbolt style or a door latch type? The picture does not show it clearly. It would be for an exit door from a staff room. Thank you

Question Hi, Deadlocking Springlatch is the answer to your question. Springlatch means you can push the door shut and the latch will spring retract and shut itself. (versus a deadbolt, where you have to manually throw the bolt with the thumb turn) The deadlocking part means it will be locked after each time it is shut. This is a great solution for a gate or storeroom, janitor closet, garage, break room, etc. The combination would need to be entered and the knob turned every time a person wanted to enter. If you need further clarification, please call 307-886-9449.
