What You Should Know About International Shipments
We do ship internationally, but there are a few things you should be aware of when ordering your door hardware for international shipments.
1 - We ship some products direct from the manufacturer. Not all manufacturers will ship internationally. Before we can ship to you, we may need to have the product shipped to our location and then forwarded on to you. We don't charge extra shipping to do this, but it does take longer for you to receive your hardware. Please keep in mind that our shipping timeframes apply to shipments within the continental US. For international shipments this timeframe would only apply to the time it takes to get the product to our location. You would then need to add additional time for the product to get shipped to you. Please plan ahead and give yourself enough time.
2 - All Duties, taxes or other fees assessed when your order arrives in your country are your responsibility. This can become expensive if you need to return an item or forget to order everything that you need the first time. You may want to call and double check that everything you want to order is in stock so that the items can ship together.
3 - Our website estimates shipping costs to your country. Most of the time this estimate is very close to the actual cost but occasionally it is not quite accurate. If the estimate is not enough we will be the actual shipping cost. If the estimate was too much, we will credit you the difference.
4 - We do not cover the cost of international shipping should a warranty issue arise. Unfortunately the Manufacturers will not cover this cost and we are unable to do so. If there happens to be a warranty issue with a lock, the customer will be responsible for shipping costs.
In summary, we are happy to work with you to ship products internationally; but please remember to allow enough time to receive your shipment and take into consideration additional costs for shipping, taxes, duties or other fees that your country may assess.
