Emtek Double Cylinder Deadbolts have a keyed cylinder on the inside as well as on the outside. These deadbolts are generally used on doors that are part glass, the door can't be unlocked with out a key. It is not recommended on most doors because it increases the danger of a person trying to get out in case of a fire.

- Solid brass cylinder, housing collar and rosette.
- Hardened steel bolt
- Heavy guage steel understrike and brass trim strike shipped with every deadbolt.
- Backsets are non-adjustable. Please specify backset when ordering.
- Shipped with square corner strike and mortise plates. Rounded corner plates or drive in latches available upon request.

Pros I purchased the Emtek Arts & Craft Style Double Cylinder Deadbolt specifically because of its ability to fit a 2" thick steel door. It did just that perfectly. The rubbed bronz was also a perfect colour match. Easy installation in 3 minutes Cons The Christmas period caused an uncomfortable delay in delivery however I am very happy with the product.
