Adjusting the privacy button on a Weslock door knob is quite simple. Here to the left is shown the exterior portion of a Weslock knobset with the privacy button shown extended towards the top. On the button there are two little holes on the inside. To adjust for a 1 3/4" thick door, simply pull the button out until the little projection on the button spindle slides into the hole closest to the bottom of the button. Hole locations are indicated in the image to the left. Once this is adjusted, make sure that the button is securely in place and install the door knob.
