Why would I want an Auto-lock?
When using Schlage's Auto Keypad Locks, You enter a four digit code, rotate the outside knob/lever, enter the room and after five seconds the lock will automatically relock behind you.

Why would I want a Flex-lock?
When using Schlage's Flex Keypad Locks, you have the option to switch your lock so it is always unlocked and no key code is required to enter. Or you may set it so it is always locked (like the auto-lock) and must be opened with the keypad or standard key, the lock will then automatically relock behind you after 5 seconds.

Why would I want a Keypad Handleset?
When using Schlage's keypad handlesets, you have a decorative entrance handle on your front door sure to make an impression on those coming and going, with the security and convenience of a keypad lock which functions just like the keypad deadbolt. It can be manually locked or unlocked with the thumb turn from the inside. On the outside there is a free spinning thumb turn that can be used with the regular key (like a normal deadbolt) or with the keyless keypad. Simply enter your code and the thumbturn can activate the throw bolt allowing you to lock or unlock your door in seconds.
